Head of Nursing & Rehabilitation – The Role

  • To lead and manage the nursing and care staff to ensure clients receive care that is safe, effective, responsive, caring and well led.
  • Integrate the nursing care of clients in the overall rehabilitation plan of clients so that care is person centred.
  • Opportunity to balance professional development with personal satisfaction of working closing with clients and our highly specialist multi-disciplinary team to develop general and specific rehabilitation strategies for clients and ensuring they are put into practice.
  • Recently awarded ‘Good’ in all five key domains by CQC, we are now charting our pathway to ‘Outstanding’.  We are looking for a dynamic and engaging Head of Nursing and Rehabilitation who would value the career development opportunities that this journey will provide.

Head of Nursing & Rehabilitation – Requirements

  • RGN or RNLD with valid NMC pin and evidence of post-registration education and practice
  • Evidence of ongoing professional development within the clinical speciality
  • Leadership or management training
  • Assessing and mentoring qualification
  • Basic and Advanced life support
  • Clinically skilled in nursing clients with complex presentations of physical, cognitive and communication impairments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to deal effectively with conflicting priorities
