Our client operates an exceptional hospital which is one of the largest in UAE and serves as a referral centre for specialised medical care and a national referral centre for oncology services, The 470 bedded tertiary care facility is renowned for its neonatal care, fertility services, emergency medicine, intensive care, oncology services and state-of-the-art cardiac care. The hospital is part of SEHA, and works in collaboration with John Hopkins International

We are now seeking Educators across all departments of the hospital, who can evidence clinical expertise in their chosen speciality, and who has worked for at least 1 year in an educational role

The Clincal Educator is a key member of the educational team, ensuring that educational initiatives and processes support the standards for nursing care, and regulatory requirements. You will work collaboratively with respective unit leads in supporting the maintenance of competence in employees. Your role will be to

  • Manage resource utilization to secure timely, efficient, accessible and effective education for employees
  • Collaborates with your designated clinical managers, colleagues, and leadership team to plan, implement and evaluate the educational needs of staff
  • Manages educational resources and identifies  risks in educational processes, informs leadership and actively participates in managing devising solutions
  • Is actively involved in revising educational policies in collaboration with managers
  • Works collaboratively and creatively with all team members to achieve divisional/departmental/unit service objectives optimizing evidence based research
  • Provides a welcoming work environment and promotes the effective orientation, precepting and support of new staff in the practice setting
  • Promotes retention of all staff by creating a healthy work environment that facilitates teamwork and treats colleagues, patients and visitors with dignity and respect at all time

In order to be considered for these exciting and challenging roles,you must be

  • Degree qualified nurse with a minimum of 3 years post- grad experience
  • Be a registered nurse in your own country
  • Have completed your training in Western Hospital Environment
  • Have worked as a Clinical Educator in a previous role
  • Have an additional Educational qualification
