Role: Theatre Practitioner
Location: The Harborne Hospital
Hours: Permanent, Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: Monday-Friday, Occasional Saturdays, Short & Long days
Salary: Competitive- dependent upon experience + allowances
We have an exciting opportunity for a Theatre Practitioner skilled in either Scrub , Anaesthetics or Recovery to join our fantastic Theatre Team at The Harborne Hospital.
The Harborne Hospital - part of HCA Healthcare UK is a brand new £100million, purpose built 50 bed, multi-speciality private hospital that has opened in Birmingham in January 2024. Located on the Queen Elizabeth Hospital Birmingham campus, the hospital has the deep clinical infrastructure, equipment and facilities and expert, experienced teams to deliver full clinical pathways across a mix of specialties and sub-specialties at all levels of complexity including Cardiology, Cancer, Orthopaedics, Gastroenterology, Gynaecology, Urology, ENT, Spinal and Complex Surgery. We have 4 State of the art Operating Theatres (Including 1 Hybrid Theatre.
What you will do:
As a Theatre Practitioner you’ll support with the assessment, planning delivery and evaluation of patient care – preparing patients and providing assistance for clinical/operative procedures while supporting across all areas of our theatres. You'll be skilled in either Scrub, Anaesthetics, Recovery.

What you’ll bring:
Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner
Current NMC Pin or HCPC Registration
Post graduate experience working in an Operating Theatre
Scrub, Anaesthetics or Recovery experience
Effective communication and strong interpersonal skills
Able to work as part of a team
