Role: Theatre Health Care Assistant
Location: The London Bridge Hospital
Hours: Permanent, Full time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday-Saturday, 5 days per week (Occasional Saturdays)
Shifts: 7:00am-15:00pm, 13:00-21:00pm
Salary: Competitive + allowances

We are looking for a Health Care Assistant with Operating Theatre Experience to join our London Bridge Hospital at London currently rated “Outstanding” by the CQC.

What you will do:

Cleaning of theatre and recovery areas before and after operating sessions, also adhering to the weekly cleaning schedule.

Stocking of cupboards and stock containers against agreed stock levels.

Collecting and escorting the patient, and assisting with transferring of the patient from trolley to table under supervision of trained staff.

Assisting with the safe positioning of patient on operating table.

Acting as circulating person for the scrub team and within the scope of the role.

What you will bring:

Health Care Assistant experience working in an Operating Theatre or significant experience working as a HCA in a Hospital Healthcare Setting.

Knowledge on Healthcare Computer Systems, Meditech, Microsoft, outlook

Infection prevention control knowledge

Knowledge of WHO Checklist and Safe Guarding in Theatres
