Deliver Exceptional Cancer Care in a Truly Specialist Setting
If you’re an Oncology or Haematology Nurse — or a Registered Nurse with a genuine passion to build a career in cancer care — this is a unique opportunity to join one of the UK’s most respected specialist cancer centres.
At The Christie Private Care, rated “Outstanding” by the CQC, you’ll be part of a highly skilled and compassionate team delivering personalised cancer treatment within a modern, purpose-built environment. Operated by HCA Healthcare UK in partnership with The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, this is a setting where clinical excellence and patient experience go hand in hand.
Our chemotherapy day case service is designed to provide both clinical precision and a calm, supportive experience for patients undergoing treatment. With a thoughtfully managed patient flow and a strong multidisciplinary approach, you’ll have the time, structure and support needed to deliver care to the highest possible standard. Alongside systemic anti-cancer therapies, the team also supports a wider outpatient service, contributing to a varied and engaging clinical workload.
As a Staff Nurse, you will play a pivotal role in supporting patients throughout their treatment journey. From assessment through to delivery and evaluation of care, you will ensure each patient receives safe, compassionate and individualised support. You will build meaningful relationships with patients and their families, helping them feel informed, reassured and cared for at every stage.
This is a day-case focused role that offers the opportunity to work in a progressive and supportive environment, without night or weekend commitments. The structure allows for an enhanced work-life balance while maintaining a strong sense of continuity and quality in patient care.
We are looking for a nurse who brings not only clinical expertise, but also genuine empathy and a desire to make a difference. Whether you are already experienced in oncology or haematology, or looking to specialise in this field, you will be encouraged and supported to develop.
If you are not yet SACT trained, full training will be provided, alongside ongoing development from an experienced team and a dedicated Clinical Practice Facilitator who will support your progression.
At HCA UK we care about what you care about. We care that you want to deliver the very best care. We care that you want a career you can be proud of. We care that you want working conditions that support your health and wellbeing. Let us care for you and your career, the same way you do for others.
What you’ll bring:
NMC Registered nurse
NHS or Private Hospital experience
Oncology/Haematology experience desirable
