We’re looking for a Sister/Charge Nurse with cardiology experience to join our Cardiology Department at The Harborne Hospital our 4th NHS Joint Venture. Purpose built with both patients and colleagues in mind

The Harborne Hospital is a 50 bed, multi-speciality, private hospital which combines deep clinical infrastructure with the exceptional technology and modern facilities HCA Healthcare UK (HCA UK) is known for. Our wide range of expertise allows us to deliver full clinical pathways at all levels of complexity across a mix of specialties and sub-specialties including Cardiology, Cancer and Complex Surgery.

As a Sister/Charge Nurse within the Cardiology Department we’ll look to you to lead from the front, supporting your team to assess, plan, deliver and evaluate high standards of specialist care. You’ll be a role model for our values, ensuring all your patients physical and emotional needs are met while using your expert leadership skills to coach, mentor and engage with your team. Day-to-day you’ll use your expert leadership skills to coach, mentor and engage with your team, while also stepping up and leading the department in the absence of the Cardiology Manager.

It is varied role, one day you could be providing bespoke, complex care to a patient in partnership with the wider multidisciplinary team. The next day coaching and mentoring junior members of staff to help them progress. What you’ll bring:

Registered General Nurse with full NMC registration.
Leadership/mentoring experience.
Experience in the field of Cardiology,
Ability to recognise cardiac rhythms.
Excellent communication skills with good time management skills and the ability to work within a multi-disciplinary team.
