PermanentSalary: Competitive with allowances We’re looking for a Senior Theatre Practitioner to join our theatres team at London Bridge Hospital, currently rated 'Outstanding' by the CQC. With 10 operating theatres, 160 inpatient beds and 28 ICU beds, the hospital delivers complex and acute care across a wide range of specialties. You’ll be part of a well established, collaborative theatre environment that combines experienced clinical teams with access to modern equipment and evolving technologies, supporting high standards of patient care throughout every stage of the surgical pathway.As a Senior Theatre Practitioner in Anaesthetics, you’ll play a key role in supporting patients through the perioperative journey while contributing to the day to day running of theatres. Working closely with consultants, anaesthetists and multidisciplinary colleagues, you’ll help ensure each list runs smoothly and safely. Alongside delivering expert anaesthetic care, you’ll support the development of colleagues across the team, sharing knowledge and maintaining a strong, supportive working culture. Support the coordination of theatre activity to ensure efficient and safe patient pathways
Act as a mentor to junior colleagues and support their ongoing development
Collaborate with consultants, anaesthetists and multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal patient outcomes
Maintain high standards of clinical practice, safety and governance within the theatre environment
What you’ll bring:Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner qualification
Post registration experience within UK theatre settings
Proven experience in anaesthetics
Completion of an anaesthetics course
A proactive approach to teamwork, safety and continuous improvement
