Role: Senior Theatre Practitioner – Anaesthetics
Location: The Wellington Hospital
Hours: Full time, 37.5 hours per week
Shifts: 4 or 5 days a week, occasional weekends

Join our outstanding Theatre team at The Wellington Hospital (CQC rated Good) as a Senior Theatre Practitioner – Anaesthetics. We are seeking a dynamic and committed professional with experience in cardiac cases to help us deliver exceptional patient care.
Our 13 theatres across 3 buildings support a wide range of specialities, underpinned by advanced equipment, technology, and a truly supportive team culture.
This is a busy, fast-paced environment with theatres opening from 7:30am. Cases can be long, so flexibility is key, but you’ll always be part of a strong, collaborative team.

What you’ll do:
Support the anaesthetist across all perioperative phases
Prepare, check, and manage anaesthetic equipment and drugs
Monitor and respond to patients’ conditions during procedures
Act as a clinical leader and role model within the team
Support safe staffing, rota planning, and service improvement

What you’ll bring:
Current HCPC/NMC Registration
Post graduate experience in Theatres
5 years’ Anaesthetics experience (essential)
