London: The Portland Hospital, 205 - 209 Great Portland St, London W1W 5AH  
Hours: 37.5hrs pw (Mon-Sat)  
shifts: Unit is open 8-8 Monday - Friday and 8-2 Saturday (Flexibility required to cover these hours)  You will be required to work Mon-Fri or 4 days( 9 hour shifts) plus 6 hour Sat shift  
Permanent contract   
Salary: Competitive (DOE) plus 4% shift allowance + benefits (pension, health cover, flexible benefits and excellent career development   
  
The Portland Hospital is recruiting for a Gynae Senior Staff Nurse to work within the Outpatients Department  
  
We have an exciting new opportunity in the gynaecology outpatient department. We have a vacancy for a Senior Staff Nurse  that has special interest in ambulatory gynae department and the early pregnancy services.  

We are looking for a Senior Staff Nurse to work either Monday to Friday  or  9 hours shifts four days a week  plus one 6 hours Saturday shift.
As a Senior Staff Nurse you will provide excellent clinical leadership skills with a strong vision for ambulatory care unit.  
To support ambulatory gynaecology service with an safe and effective environment.
To help support the team with efficient referral pathways to optimize patient flow.
To help support training with new procedures which will include minor surgical procedures .
To help support the nursing team with mentorship and to offer ongoing support to the nursing team.

What you’ll bring  
NMC Registered  

Demonstrable experience /knowledge as a Registered Nurse   

Experience/Qualification in Gynaecology  

Competent in venepuncture-Desirable  

Knowledge of relevant hospital policies and procedures  

Knowledge of relevant NMC/national guidelines, policies and procedures (Code of conduct)  

ILS trained
