
Lecturer in Nursing
We have an opportunity within our Health and Social Care team to teach all aspects of the Health and Sciences T level qualifications. We are seeking candidates who have experience within the nursing and midwifery sector.
In this role, you will be responsible for the delivery of effective teaching, learning and assessment within an established and committed team. You will have the skills to motivate students to realise their ambitions and reach their full potential. You will be enthusiastic and have a passion for your profession and be able to guide students to succeed.
Applicants should therefore hold:
- A Degree Level qualification in nursing or midwifery.
- A Level 2 qualification in maths and English (or equivalent) as a minimum (e.g. GCSE grade C or above, GCSE grade 4 or above)
- A full teaching qualification at Level 5 or above or be willing to work towards obtaining one. If you do not hold a suitable teaching qualification, the college will support you to obtain this as part of our investement in your professional development.
The successful applicant will be expected to maintain their professional registration as a nurse/midwife.
Applications from candidates with a background in teaching in an FE environment would also be advantageous but not essential.
