You’ll have previous experience in a similar setting and excellent knowledge in healthcare and managing people, caring for both men and women in an acute setting. 

Working an average of 40.25 hours per week, you will support in leading the nursing team, ensuring procedures are being followed and a safe environment in maintained.  As a Deputy Ward Manager you will be committed to delivering excellent standards of care whilst acting as a positive role model, coach and mentor to your team.

You will be working with people in an inpatient setting who may be treated under the Mental Health Act , providing treatment for men and women who may have suffered trauma and are affected by mental disorders. As an integral part of the multi-disciplinary team, you will provide your peers on-going guidance and training to ensure they have the necessary support system and skillset.
