Shift patterns: 9am–6.30pm Mon-Fri

We’re looking for a Clinical Nurse Specialist – Breast to join our expert team at The Wellington Hospital, Platinum Medical Centre in London, currently rated “Good” by the CQC.

Our dedicated Breast Unit offers Triple assessment clinics, advanced diagnostics and a seamless patient pathway, all delivered in a modern, supportive environment.  
As a Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS), you will play a vital role in supporting patients throughout their journey, from pre-diagnosis through treatment and recovery. You will be a consistent point of contact, ensuring patients feel well-supported as they navigate different parts of the hospital to receive optimal care. 
You will: 
Provide expert clinical, educational, and psychological support to patients and their families. 

Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team (MDT), including oncologists, breast surgeons, radiologists, and consultant pathologists. 

Attend MDT meetings, share recommendations with consultants, and ensure continuity of care by linking with other healthcare professionals both within the hospital and in the community. 

Offer support before, during, and after surgery, and cover clinics Monday to Friday.

What you’ll bring: 
NMC registration 

Post-basic qualifications in breast cancer or oncology (such as Principles of Breast Cancer or Breast Cancer Core Management courses) 

Experience caring for patients with benign and malignant breast disease 

Current knowledge and experience supporting people with breast cancer, including advanced cases 

Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team 

Completed relevant Post graduate course ( Level 6 or 7)
