We are looking for a motivated and inspirational Clinical Nurse Manager to lead our specialist team of Nurses in our Nurse led Oncology day unit to provide specialist care and clinical leadership in the administration of systemic anti cancer therapies .
The Clinical Nurse Manager 2 plays a pivotal role in ensuring the safe and efficient management of the services delivered within the Oncology day unit in Mayo University Hospital

We are looking for:
- An experienced registered Nurse (registered with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland) with experience in administration of systemic anti cancer therapies who is ready to bring their knowledge to Mayo and be part of our exciting plans for Oncology nursing services in Mayo University Hospital.

Mayo University Hospital provides a range of acute services with Emergency Department, ICU, CCU, General surgery, Orthopaedics, Medicine, Cancer, Renal, Maternity, Obstetrics and Gynaecology.
The Oncology Day Unit is operational Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 7pm and currently consists of 11 treatment chairs for the administration of Systemic anti cancer therapies with a view to expand capacity with the use of additional treatment space in our medical day unit. The Oncology day Unit is a predominately Nurse led service with the additional support of two advanced Nurse practitioners, four clinical Nurse specialists, and a dedicated Clinical Nurse manager 3. The unit is further supported by visiting Oncology Consultants and an onsite registrar. We also provide an extensive outpatient service for adult patients with a cancer diagnosis to support them in their treatment journey
