Band 6 or 7 dependant on experience
Band 6 Salary: GBP30,401 - GBP38,046 per annum
Band 7 Salary: GBP37,570 - GBP44,688 per annum

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to apply for the role of Advanced Nurse Specialist in Upper GI malignancy.

The successful candidate will be an expert clinical practitioner providing comprehensive advice and support within the specialism.

You will ensure a person-centred approach to care delivery which is safe and effective to ensure and maintain the quality strategy.

You will be a Registered Nurse with valid NMC Registration, educated to/working towards/operating at Masters Level with post graduate expertise within speciality / area of practice that demonstrates the required breadth of knowledge required to lead safely, effectively and efficiently.

You will have a comprehensive knowledge of clinical guidelines and standards within the speciality with advanced specialist knowledge and experience of conditions, pathology, policies and procedures associated with this speciality/area of practice ensuring that the level of expertise can be utilised to deliver leadership within the speciality.

Candidates who meet the criteria of the post though require additional training, will commence on the Band 6 salary scale, progressing to Band 7 once training and competencies are met.
