Team Lead Charge Nurse - Orthopaedic Theatres
Theatres at the Queen Elizabeth University Hospital are looking for a Band 6 Perioperative practitioner for our fantastic orthopaedic specialty theatres. You should be an experienced Perioperative practitioner with significant experience at a band 5 within an orthopaedic perioperative environment and have evidence of leadership experience. The ability to work on your own initiative but also as part of an integrated team is required. You must have demonstrated ability of working in a complex, multidisciplinary, clinical environment. You will have excellent leadership qualities and be an effective communicator This is an excellent opportunity for an individual wishing to affect a positive, safe patient perioperative experience, with the desire to continually improve the service, whilst being part of a supportive team. You are required to demonstrate flexibility by working within a service that may run over a seven day week. Furthermore, you will be expected where necessary to engage in multi-site working within NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde in order to achieve the needs of the service. It is essential that you are currently a Registered Nurse with the NMC and that you have significant post registration experience with evidence of continuing professional development. The shift patter for this post is 4 days over 7.
