Womens DBT
This exciting opportunity is to work within an Integrated Practice Unit (IPU) delivering Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) for women with Borderline Personality Disorder. The DBT IPU provides treatment for women in different settings along their recovery. The three wards in the treatment pathway include low secure and locked services. With the launch of our DBT Integrated Practice Unit (IPU) we can now offer you the chance to work in this stimulating and challenging environment, with a particular emphasis on supporting the Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) programme. We have a long and proud history at the forefront of DBT and it`s highly valued within the Charity. As well as an excellent DBT organisational-wide support network, you`ll be trained by and work alongside recognised experts, following our structured 5 function therapy programme to help patients manage and control
emotions more effectively and achieve behavioural control.
There is a is a preceptorship support package for newly qualified staff as well as a variety of training available to ensure that registered staff are have the right skills and approach to work within a DBT setting.
We have a number of exciting opportunities for both experienced and recently qualified Mental Health and Learning Disability Nurses to join our team.  You will be accountable for the delivery of high quality, patient-focussed care within our Pathway.  As a member of our team, you will enjoy the opportunity to contribute to developing innovative approaches, in an environment where you`ll always be expected to put the patient first.
