Staff Nurse - Mental Health
I am currently working on behalf of a leading specialist Mental Health & Learning disability care provider that is looking to appoint a number of staff nurses into one of their Private Mental Health Hospitals in the Hertfordshire Area. The roles will be working as part of the PICU ward.
The Hospital itself with medium secure, low secure, and both locked and open rehabilitation opportunities.
You will be joining a team of excellent clinical staff nurses in ensuring that care delivered to patients is of the highest standard. You will be clinically sound and be able to work effectively within a multi-disciplinary workforce.
You will participate in:
Providing strong support networks with access to specialist support and encourage continued professional development
Looking for ways to develop and expand services to improve the care pathway for patients
Providing a safe and therapeutic environment for all who use and work in the home
Supporting the senior nursing team, in delivering 24 hour care and management of ward based in-patient services.
Applicants looking to apply should have a valid nursing qualification, Ideally RMN, have completed nurse training, have 12 months post registration experience and possess previous mental health care and ideally within a PICU setting. You should be able to communicate effectively on all levels and provide support to the lead nurse when required.
Shifts - 2 on 5 off, 5 on 2 off. 7.30am - 7.30pm, 7.30pm - 7.30 am. A mixture of days, nights & weekends.
Salary - GBP32-33k
