Key Details: I am recruiting for an experienced Resident Medical Officer to join a Clinic in Manchester , to work in an acute inpatient oncology ward looking after patients undergoing surgery, chemotherapy and immunotherapy to fully assist the consultants and specialist nursing staff.

Location: Manchester - within easy access via Train, Bus and car with car park
Salary: GBP50,000 - GBP55,000 per annum / GBP24.03 - GBP26.44 per hour based on 40 hours per week.
Hours: Full Time & Part Time available - 40 Hours Per Week - range of shifts across both weekdays & weekends determined by rota. Rotas provided on average 6 to 8 weeks in advance to plan worklife balance.
Contract Type: 1 Year FTC

Further Details about the Role: I am looking to recruit an RMO to join a Clinic located in Manchester to Work in close liaison with the nursing team and multi-disciplinary team to ensure a high standard of patient care is delivered. Participation in the primary medical care of patients admitted to ward, undertake certain medical procedures. Complete drug charts and liaise with the nurse in charge regarding any potential problems. Take part in ward audits, education, training and research to continuous improve and strive for excellence, for staff and patients. To attend to patients attending the chemotherapy day unit, radiotherapy department, and private outpatient clinics as requested. To consent patients following explanation of procedures such as, cytotoxic chemotherapy administration, radionuclide therapy as required. Update all patient records. Undertake daily walk rounds
Person Specification: I am looking for the successful applicant for this RMO opportunity to possess full without restrictions GMC registration. Acute Medicine and/or oncology experience desirable. Excellent verbal and written English communication skills. Good working knowledge of IT and computer databases. Exceptional customer service skills. Outstanding Team Player
