Full Time and Part Time roles available within our Learning Disabilities and Mental Health services in Bristol and South Gloucestershire
Whether you're looking to apply for your first nursing role, ready to take on more responsibility or simply looking for a place where you can thrive in your career, we’re confident that you will love what you do working with us!
Better yet, it’s never been more of an exciting time to join Milestones Trust, where our new nursing roles offer a flexible and focused approach to nursing delivery.
At Milestones Trust, we support people with learning disabilities, mental health needs, dementia, and those with complex behavioural needs in either a residential or community setting. Our values are at the heart of everything we do; we start with the person; we bring people close; we take our creativity to work with us; and we are courageous in our approach. We are looking for Nurses who share our values and are committed to making a positive difference to the lives of the people we support.
We are seeking newly qualified and experienced nurses with a qualification in Learning Disabilities, Adult or Mental Health Nursing to join our team. We are currently looking for Registered Nurse Team Leaders and Nurse Practitioners to work within our Mental Health and Learning Disabilities services. We also offer opportunities for Student Nurses and a preceptorship programme for Newly Qualified Nurses.
Across all our roles we are looking for motivated and enthusiastic Nurses who can show a creative approach, whilst ensuring that high levels of care are delivered by the team at all times.
These roles provide a great opportunity to focus on nursing intervention and meeting the holistic needs of people with learning disabilities and physical health needs. This support will enable people to lead full and enriched lives within their local communities. Your focus will be on ensuring that care and support maximises independence and meets quality of life outcomes.
If your skills and experiences are better suited for our Mental Health Services, we also have roles providing you with the opportunity to focus on nursing intervention, supporting relapse prevention, recovery progression and supporting physical health needs.
If you are highly motivated, enjoy working within a clinical team to deliver high standards of care to the people you support, you are the person we need to join our team!
If you choose to work with us, you’ll have the added benefit of working in a varied and rewarding role, that not only provides you with the satisfaction from helping others, but also gives you the opportunity to thrive in your career!
We also offer a comprehensive induction programme with excellent personal development opportunities, with annual Personal Development Reviews suited to your learning needs and a specific nurse development programme to further your practice.
Our other benefits include:
- 26 days’ holiday and 8 days’ bank holiday entitlement
- Family friendly/work-life balance policies
- Company pension scheme
- Health Cash Plan on completion of probation, with access to an Employee Discount Platform from Day 1
