The Priory Hospital Nottingham is a 14 bedded unit which provides inpatient treatment for NHS patients with acute mental health issues. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our existing staff team
As part of a multidisciplinary team, reporting to the Director of Clinical Services, the primary role will be to undertake and manage direct care to patients with a variety of acute psychiatric illnesses. The candidate will be qualified as a Registered Mental Health Nurse, and possess the ability to demonstrate sound and appropriate nursing techniques in the acute psychiatric setting. The successful candidate will be organised with a proven track record of managing a systematic approach to care plans and the management of risk. The candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills to maintain the highest levels of quality care and professionalism possible. This role would suit a newly qualified nurse, we provide comprehensive preceptorship training. As a site, we are also open to candidates with RNLD qualifications to increase our existing set of skills.
