To achieve this objective, we are currently recruiting for an enthusiastic and confident Professional Development and Clinical Training Lead.  The successful candidate will be accountable for ensuing all staff are clinically competent to fulfil their role.  This will cover the spectrum of specialities in the delivery of adult clinical care.  Reporting directly to the Head of Nursing the successful candidate will devise and deliver organisational and person-centred training plans and play a key role in leading and embedding a culture of continuous personal development. You will also produce annual training needs analysis which incorporates professional development plus mandated training. 

For this crucial role a good candidate will have a strong clinical portfolio that includes experience in a management/leadership role in the health and social care context. This will be demonstrated by a commitment to promoting a culture of continuous improvement and learning, and to supporting new ways of working. You must have experience of ensuring CQC compliance across the regulated activities and experience of working with a multi-disciplinary team.

This is a full-time role working 42.5 hours per week. We offer a competitive salary, 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays, transferable NHS pension or civil service scheme, use of our onsite gym and social club. We offer interest free loans for travel, support your CPD and pay your annual NMC registration fees.  As this post involves working with adults with care and support needs the successful candidate will be required to complete an Enhanced with Barring Disclosure & Barring Service application.
