Job Title: Occupational Health Advisor

Salary: £40,000pa - £45,000pa + benefits (pro rata)
At Health Management we have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Occupational Health Advisor (OHA) to join us in delivering a quality Occupational Health service to one of our valued clients, Martin-Baker Aircraft Co.
This will suit an OHA who is ready for a new on-site opportunity with a forward thinking, aviation manufacturer who supply into the air force and military. The client is a leading manufacturer of ejection seats and safety-related equipment for aviation. The company's origins were originally as an aircraft manufacturer before becoming a pioneer in the field of ejection seats.
Based on-site in Uxbridge, you will be responsible for delivering a full Occupational Health remit. These duties will include:
- Sickness Absence Management
- Health Screening
- Health Surveillance (Audiometry, Spirometry etc.)
- Travel Health Advice
- Delivery of Vaccination and Immunisation programmes
- Delivery of Health Promotion campaigns
- Biological monitoring programme
This role will be based on-site, 3-4 days per week in Uxbridge with the expectation of visits to the client’s second site in Oxfordshire, once or twice per month.
The ideal candidate will have experience as an Occupational Health Advisor in a commercial setting, ideally within a manufacturing environment, although this is not essential.
You will be a Registered General Nurse (RGN) and hold either an Occupational Health Nursing Degree or Diploma. Candidates with relevant experience but no additional OH Nursing qualification may also be considered. Current NMC registration is essential.
