Job Title: Nurse Unit Manager ( RGN ) Nursing Home in Woking
Location: Woking, Surrey
Salary: GBP34,300 -GBP45,750 per annum, (GBP20 p/hour) + excellent benefits
Hours: Full-time, 3-4 shifts a week
An exciting new opportunity has arisen for a passionate and motivated Nurse ( RGN ) to join a beautiful nursing home based in Woking. This beautiful Nursing home boasts a 5/5 Good CQC and is respected in the area for its high standards of care and is are accredited by the Gold Standards Framework for their expertise in End of Life Care services. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an award winning Health Care provider in one of their lovely nursing homes based in Woking. The home is close to public transport links as well as local shops and amenities. The Home Manager is looking for a passionate and caring Nurse to join their friendly team as a Unit Manager.
The home specialises in Nursing, End of Life and Dementia care. The company are leading healthcare provider with homes across the London and Kent areas. The home have a very low staff turnover and moral at the home is very high. You will be part of company that values staff well being and provides future opportunities to develop your career.
As a Unit Manager you will be involved in assisting the Deputy Manager and Home Manager in the running of the home as well as keeping your clinical skills up to date providing nursing hands on care. The home has 3 units and always has a minimum of three qualified registered nurses on duty 24-hours a day, supported by three Nurse unit managers and a Nurse qualified Deputy Manager.
Person Specification: Our client is looking for a Registered General Nurse. All candidates must have a valid NMC Pin and full eligibility to live and work in the UK. Applicants must have good communication skills, a hard-working nature, and the willingness to get stuck in. Experienced nurses with leadership skills will be considered for this role.
