We are looking for an experienced Nurse to join our on-site Medical Centre, caring for both our guests and a 1500 strong workforce.

Reporting to the Nursing Sister, you will operate as an autonomous nurse practitioner, assessing, implementing and evaluating care for guests and employees attending the Medical Centre with minor injuries and illnesses.
You will also be required to attend first aid/emergency medical treatment around the Village as necessary, so a full driving license is essential.
In addition you will assist with providing an occupational health service by assessing employees for fitness to return to work and liaise/advise Managers where necessary on employee health issues and working recommendations.
Due to the sensitive nature of this role the successful applicant will be required to undergo an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly CRB) with Child & Adult List Barring Check. This disclosure, together with other selection information, will need to be satisfactory to the Company for employment to commence.
You will be contracted to work 64 hours per 4 week period. This means that your hours and days of work could vary each week, but you will always receive at least your contracted hours each period.
As our Village is open 365 days of the year, your working hours will include weekends, public / bank holidays and during Christmas and/or New Year on a rota basis.
Essential requirements:

  • Registered General Nurse
  • Nursing and Midwifery registered
  • 2 years post registration experience
  • Full Driving licence
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and sociably confident with the ability to inspire confidence and establish credibility

Desirable requirements:

  • Experience in accident and emergency and/or practice nurse
  • Occupational health experience
  • Experience of dealing with minor injuries and illnesses
  • It would be advantageous to have current RCN (or similar) membership
