The nurse bank provides a pool of staff required to work on an as-and-when basis in a variety of clinical settings to help cover shortfalls in staffing. You must deliver a high standard of patient-centred care; be kind, caring, professional, flexible and reliable. If this is you, then you may be a suitable candidate for the Nurse Bank.
Please note that in order to apply for the post of Bank Staff Nurse, you must be a Registered Nurse with the NMC, with up to date acute experience working in a hospital setting as a Staff Nurse. To apply for the post of Bank Midwife, you must be Registered as a Midwife with the NMC, with up to date experience working as a Midwife. If you already hold a post as a Staff Nurse or Midwife within NHS Grampian, please do not apply to this advert, as there is a more streamlined way for you to join the nurse bank.

As of March 2018, we are pleased to announce that we are now recruiting to our Mental Health and LD nurse bank. This position will offer you the flexibility to work at hours that are suitable to you on both day and night shifts. The RCH site has a variety of specialities and working on our bank will allow you to experience the delivery of person centred care in all of these environments.
