About this job

Our award winning Helpline is looking to appoint a MS nurse, to join our Helpline as part of a brand new helpline service, providing people with information and support via phone, email and social media.

Our Helpline runs from 9am to 7pm Monday to Friday, and we are looking for an enthusiastic, warm and experienced MS nurse to embed this new service. This is an extremely exciting role - the MS nurse will be answering enquiries on our Helpline, offering person centred information and support to those affected by MS.

If you are an experienced MS Nurse, are passionate about offering high quality information and support, and would like to be involved in shaping the development of a new helpline service, we really want to hear from you. We will also consider applications from RGNs with extensive experience of working with the MS community.

Seven hour shift patterns of 9am – 5pm, 10am – 6pm or 11am – 7pm Monday to Friday are available. We can consider any total number of working hours based on multiple of 7. When applying please state whether you are looking for full-time (35 hours) or part-time (such as 21 or 28 hours). Although we are ideally looking for two part-time post-holders, we will consider all applications.

We offer 27 days annual leave (excluding bank holidays), travel loan and various other benefits such as supported developmental opportunities.

The MS Society is in the midst of an exciting, transformational, period which builds on our great history and will drive us towards achieving our mission and vision as we embark on our new 5 year strategy.
