We have a brilliant opportunity for you to join our CQC Registered service in Southampton which provides support to our customers who have an enduring mental health diagnosis within an accommodation support setting. As a Registered Mental Health Nurse, you’ll be developing our Support Workers to ensure that high quality individualised care is delivered which ensures safety, maximises customers independence.recovery, wellbeing and
As an experienced clinician, you’ll lead practice development, developing and delivering specialist training packages to our colleagues, embedding core competencies as well as oversight of clinical supervision. You’ll also be the point of contact for individual support and coaching of the Managers in our services. You’ll be really enhancing colleagues’ knowledge and skills, promoting regular, honest and supportive feedback.

You’ll be shaping our services, developing essential standards and quality outcomes. With customer care at the forefront of everything we do, you will inspire others and advocate a philosophy of care that is person centred, maintains dignity, independence and ensures it is right for that person at that time. You’ll enable us to maintain high standards of support and intervention to contribute to achieving the Care Quality Commission Essential Standards.
On a day to day basis, you’ll report to Paula our Registered Manager, with your clinical supervision provided by our clinical practice team. Paula and the team are well known for their special vintage afternoon creams teas, from Lianne’s amazing cakes, Paula’s fine tea sets, Tina who loves a bit of Earl Grey to Lisa who is a connoisseur of strawberries and jam. A bit about you
It goes without saying that you’ll be a Registered Mental Health Nurse and hold relevant professional qualifications. You’ll have experience of working with young people and adults with ill mental health as well as managing, co-ordinating, delivering and evaluating training to colleagues on an individual and group basis.
You’ll have an eye for detail, being able to analyse complex data and make expert judgements. You’ll really impress us with your ability to unleash the potential of colleagues through offering clinical advice, coaching, mentoring and training. You’ll also bring a creative spark and ability to understand where our customers are in their lives, using evidence based practice, care delivery and current occupational therapy based interventions.
An Enhanced Check under the Disclosure and Barring Service is required for this role and will be paid for by us
