What you'll be doing
To provide and maintain efficient administrative and reception services for the Diagnostic Imaging Department, ensuring that a high quality service is delivered to patients, staff and Consultants.
To maintain a polite and friendly manner and a high standard of confidentiality when dealing with computerised records at all times.
To work as part of a multi disciplinary team showing flexibility of shared tasks to ensure that we provide the best quality service in a pleasant environment for both staff and patients.

What’s a typical day?
Deal with patients in a friendly polite and efficient manner
Take bookings for Diagnostic Imaging examinations and give patients precise and accurate preparation instructions.
Take and give accurate information over the telephone and to have an efficient telephone manner.
Advise the Administration Lead of any problems within the department and to handle minor complaints with immediate action and a thorough follow up
Ensure that effective booking, information, reporting and filing systems are maintained and developed on a daily weekly and monthly basis.
Create and maintain good working relationships with all members of the department of diagnostic Imaging
.Who we’re looking for?
- Experience in a similar position or busy Administrative role
- Confident working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to cope under pressure and in a busy environment
- Team player
- Willingness to go above and beyond in your position
