DEPUTY WARD MANAGER - (RSCN/ RN Child Nurse)

Torrance House is a 5 bedded nurse led continuing care service for young people aged 0-18 with a brain injury or progressive neurological condition (PNC).

The team are efficient in managing the complex needs of the young people.

The Deputy Ward Manager (RSCN/ RNChild Nurse) Responsibilities:

* Supervision and management of care staff

* Planning staff rotas

* Annual leave organisation

* Deputise in the absence of the Ward Manager

* Undertake on call within a rota

* Demonstrate consistent leadership and role modelling

* Conduct interviews

The Deputy Ward Manager:

* Must be RNChild/RSCN qualified with a valid NMC pin number

* Must be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team and have sound knowledge of regulatory requirements

* Must be able to complete an enhanced DBS check

* The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
