Community Nurse

  • Working as a District Nurse, you will be required to:
  • Providing care to patients within their own homes
  • Complete all necessary documentation
  • Liaise with a team of nurses and contribute to any MDT meetings required

There are many skills and responsibilities that will be utilised in your role as a community nurse so experience with the following is desirable:

  • Catheters (M, F & SP)
  • Injections
  • Compressions
  • Venepuncture
  • Cannulation
  • Wound Care
  • Blood Pressure
  • Leg Ulcer Management

Requirements of this role:

  • A valid and in-date NMC Pin.
  • Nursing Qualification (Diploma or Degree).
  • Experience of working as a Community Nurse.
