The post holder is required to work collaboratively in a safe caring and respectful way. An exciting opportunity has arisen for a BBV Specialist Nurse to work within the BBV team located within the Annanhill Suite at University Hospital Crosshouse. You will have experience of diagnosis treatment care and support of individuals with a BBV diagnosis and be expected to manage a caseload under the supervision of the Leas BBV Nurse Specialist Nurse along with the supervision and line management responsibility for junior staff. You will be able to offer a range of evidence based clinical interventions to service users. You will be able to provide evidence of professional development in areas relevant to this post and demonstrate awareness of relevant legislation and policies. You must be a RGN and have excellent communication skills and be able to develop effective working relationships at all levels and have highly developed assessment skills. Previous experiences of BBV / Sexual Health screening and of working in community and prison settings are desirable elements of this post. The service is provided over 5 days. Hours: 37.5 per week.
