Clinical Nurse Educator
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Registered Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse to act as a clinical nurse facilitator for Adult Mental Health and Learning Disability Services, responsible for the development, provision and management of high quality, practice based learning, clinical education and teaching for Nurses and Health Care Support Workers across NHS Tayside.
The post holder will be responsible for:-
• co-designing and co-delivering practice based learning;
• clinical skills development;
• supporting the development of local training plans across Adult Mental Health and Learning Disability Services;
• ensuring that the provision of clinical education & teaching meets both service and professional requirements.
We are looking for an adaptable individual who is a Registered Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurse educated to first degree, Masters degree or with equivalent clinical experience &/or NMC recordable teaching qualification desirable.
Additionally, the post holder should have a extensive years experience of Mental Health or Learning Disability nursing in areas with highly developed clinical, teaching and learning skills, have a Master's degree or ability to evidence working to a Masters Level and demonstrate an interest in and have experience in delivering educational programmes.
You must possess excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills and possess good organisational skills and be able to work with minimal direction and supervision.
