So, what will the role involve?
The school is seeking to employ a Clinical Educator for the Nursing Associate Apprenticeship programme. The programme has been developed to train nursing associates to bridge the gap between qualified nurses and healthcare assistants. This new role has the potential to transform the nursing and care workforce to help us meet the diverse health needs of the people we look after, be it in Hospital, at Home or in the Community. We have created an innovative and creative programme of study that you will have the opportunity to help develop and deliver. From March 2020 cohort we have expanded into learning disability services, primary and social care organisations. We are particularly keen to hear from nurses working within learning disability services to complement the existing team of nurses from adult, mental health and children & young people nursing fields of practice.
