The Role

Take this high-profile role and you will provide professional and academic leadership for practice education. We will look to you to lead and develop high quality renowned practice education across our programmes, providing quality, continuous improvement, monitoring and evaluation of the provision that falls within this portfolio. You will provide leadership for a team and key stakeholders on policy and practice that meets professional body standards. As a respected professional and academic, you will work to enhance our local and national connections and profile.

The Person

You will come to us with a credible background in the nursing/healthcare profession together with an impressive track record of advancing practice education through innovation and integrated academic practice. A flair for project management is desirable. Your ability to engage the interest and enthusiasm of students and inspire them to learn will set you apart. You will be an excellent communicator and collaborator who enjoys working with colleagues from across the school’s disciplines and key stakeholders.

Applicants will be required to demonstrate that they meet the Kingston University standards in learning, teaching and research. By the end of the probation period, you must have achieved the relevant level of UKPSF recognition (if this has not already been obtained). These qualifications will be matched by considerable experience of practice education.

As part of the joint faculty with St George’s, University of London, we have access to industry-leading research for nursing and health professions.

This is a full time, permanent role with a starting salary of £53,463 per annum.
