Anaesthetic Theatre Practitioner/ODP

We are actively inviting experienced Cath Lab Anaesthetic Theatre Practitioners to apply to HCA Healthcare UK. If you are an experienced Cath Lab Anaesthetic Theatre Practitioner and can offer a weekly commitment of full time hours, we would very much like to hear from you.

Location: The Harley Street Clinic
Contract Type; Permanent, full time, 37.5 hours
Shift Days; Monday to Saturday.
Shift Patterns; long days, earlies, lates and twilight shifts
Salary range: Competitive

The Role

You will be part of a multi disciplinary Cath lab team and be taking part in an on-call rota and be asked to do long days at times to accommodate the workload and demand of the cases in the cath lab
You will be expected to do sedation cases, without an anaesthetist .
- Ability to work within a team and independently and be able to manage difficult situations.
- Provide assistance in clinical/ operative procedures, both anaesthetics and surgery.
-Provide immediate post-operative care.
-Provide initial emergency care as required
-Take charge of the clinical area in the absence of an advanced practitioner ensuring patient, visitors and staff safety.
Skills & Experience

Must have anaesthetic and sedation experience and cardiac background would be ideal.
Operating Department Practitioner/Registered Nurse qualified
Current HCPC/NMC Registration
