Job Description

A key member of the Pharmacy Team as such they will assist in the provision of a comprehensive pharmacy service which consistently meet the needs of all service users.

The post holder will contribute to the efficient day-to-day running of the Pharmacy, working under the direct supervision of a Senior Technician and receiving Pharmacist support.

This is a full time role, working 37.5 hours per week, with a salary between £26,976 - £30,000 dependent on experience.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Perform work in line with hospital protocols and standards.
  • Assisting in the development and improvement of standards and procedures.
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary team work, helping to create and maintain effective working relationships.
  • Liaise with the senior technicians in all aspects of the department.
  • Assisting in the development and improvement of standards and procedures.
  • Provide a dispensing service to both in / out patients using the Meditech dispensing system.

Skills & Experience

  • Pharmacy NVQ3, BTech or equivalent
  • Registration with General Pharmaceutical Council.
  • Hospital based post qualification experience is desirable, but not essential.
  • Aseptic experience is desirable, but not essential.
  • Good spoken and written English.
