The Role & person

An exciting new opportunity has been created to support practice education and student assessment. We are looking for 3 experienced mental health or Learning Disability nurses with a track record of student mentoring who are committed in delivering the best student experience. The individual needs to be knowledgeable of student assessment and practice learning, they need to be flexible in their working patterns as to support students, have good contemporary knowledge of clinical practice and excellent relational skills. The role will encompass all 4 regional sites and although working within a small team the ability to organise their own work and problem solve will be essential.
 
In addition to this the post-holder will contribute to the wider educational aim of the team who deliver three educational programmes through our Institutional Partnership with the University of Northampton.
Therefore if you are a registered mental health or LD nurse, have  experience of mentoring students, excited by the new NMC standards  and wish to develop a career in education then we would like to hear from you.
