The South Sector is looking to recruit a Senior Charge Nurse for Quality and Service Improvement for its state of the art theatre suites. We cover a variety of specialties including Major General Surgery, Urology, Renal, Vascular, Orthopaedics including spinal, ENT, Gynaecology, Trauma and Emergencies. We are an innovative, constantly changing service and work closely with our specialty colleagues ensuring latest technology and equipment.

We are looking to recruit a leader who will ensure a culture of continuous quality improvement through the use of audit, patient feedback and reflection. You will identify and lead projects to improve efficiency and patient flow and assist with providing a seamless perioperative experience for our patients and clinical colleagues.
You will have the determination and vision to work with the Multi Disciplinary Team and our stakeholders to achieve this.
You must also have the skills to deal with conflicting pressures in a professional and calm manner and be able to work in a highly pressured environment while maintaining a can do attitude.
You must have demonstrated ability of working in a complex, multidisciplinary, clinical environment. You will have excellent leadership qualities and be an effective communicator. It is essential you are a Registered Nurse or OPD with substantial post registration experience, you must also have relevant experience and appropriate post registration qualification experience in a managerial role. This is an excellent opportunity for an individual wishing to affect a positive, safe patient perioperative experience, with the desire to continually improve the service, whilst being part of a supportive team.
