The Vines is a residential rehabilitation service for people who have experienced acquired brain injury.

A dedicated multi-disciplinary team of nursing, rehabilitative support and therapy staff develop and deliver programs tailored for each individual. Positive goals are developed in conjunction with their families to best reflect individuals' aspirations. Individuals are supported to take part in activities they enjoy, including sensory experiences, and families are encouraged to be involved through regular review meetings.

Job Advert Role Description

This is a great opportunity for an exceptional Deputy Manager experienced in working with adults with  complex needs. You will be required to support the manager to lead a team to shape and develop the service strategy and to inspire the staff team to provide the highest quality person-centred support in order to achieve excellent outcomes.

The successful candidate will have a proven track record in a supervisory role with experience and knowledge within social care and supporting people within a specialist service setting. You must be able to take responsibility of the service in the manager's absence requiring an excellent working knowledge of CCQ standards and associated regulations

The Candidate must have the following:

Administrative Skills - Able to minute take at meetings and type notes, petty cash,cfa, raise aspire orders with the correct codes,

-Clinical- work on the floor 1 day per week including working at weekends

-Leadership skills- is able to manage a team effectively and lead by example

-Organised- is able to structure there day and prioritise their tasks based upon urgency.

-Clear can do attitude

-Computer literate

-Professional

-Can step up In home manager's absence

-Previous experience in care

-Is able to deal with HR/ staffing issues

-Knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and correct processes

-Aid growth of the business e.g referrals, assessments, attending conferences

- Works well under pressure
