You will be part of the Community Mental Health Team, working directly with the multidisciplinary/multi-agency team to support the service. You will be required to provide an effective and efficient secretarial service to the consultant psychiatrist. It is essential that you are a proficient typist with excellent organisational and communication skills with the ability to relate to a wide range of personalities. As the first point of contact for the consultant, this is an important role which requires excellent communication and interpersonal skills, understanding your area of responsibility. It is essential that you are proficient in the use of all microsoft office software including Microsoft Outlook. You should have relevant experience as a medical secretary or working directly to a manager. You should have advanced keyboard skills including audio typing. The shift pattern for this post is 3 days over 5.
