FIFE HEALTH AND SOCIAL CARE PARTNERSHIP FIFE WIDE DIVISION QUEEN MARGARET HOSPITAL - CARNEGIE UNIT COMMUNITY CHILDRENS NURSE REF NO: FW136/07/19LB SALARY: GBP30,401 - GBP38,046 PRO RATA BAND 6 - HOURS: 30 An exciting opportunity has arisen due to retirement of current post holder to join an established team of Community Childrens Nurses: it is a busy service with a diverse caseload covering North East Fife. We are looking for a confident innovative nurse to join the team, you will require to be a flexible practitioner within the community setting, a good team player and be able to develop collaborative working relationships with other health professionals from both local area and tertiary centres /Social Work/Education/ CHAS (Rachel House Childrens Hospice) 3rd sector agencies and voluntary agencies. You will work as an autonomous practitioner carrying clinical responsibility for a caseload of Children & Young people, delivering high quality, safe / effective care in a variety of settings across the community ( Home, Schools, Nurseries, Child Development Centres, Respite Unit ) You must be a registered children's nurse ideally with significant experience of working with children and young people within an acute or community setting. You must also demonstrate knowledge and principles of teaching others. Previous experience of working with children and young people with complex needs would be advantageous. A full induction period will be offered to the successful candidate. You will be allowed opportunities to develop both clinically and professionally within a supportive environment and encouraged to participate in service developments.
