The Police Rehabilitation Centre (Flint House) is a registered Charity offering rehabilitation services to ill or injured serving and retired police officers suffering from a wide variety of physical and mental health conditions. Due to increased demand for the services we offer, we are looking to add to our experienced Mental Health team with the recruitment of 2 additional Mental Health Nurses/Practitioners.
We require skilled facilitators to join our small team providing evidence based, low intensity interventions on both a group and individual basis to patients attending our in-house programme. Main responsibilities will include:
* supporting the daily delivery of the two week residential programme,
* undertaking telephone assessments of patients' psychological health,
* facilitating daily education and discussion groups and
* promoting the use of guided self-help interventions
The job holder will have responsibility for a small caseload of patients and be part of an out of hours on-call rota.
You will have a recognised mental health qualification, be a confident practitioner experienced in delivering psycho-educational support to patients and in facilitating discussion through group work. You must be willing to be DBS checked as this is essential for the role. In addition, you will be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, be dedicated, caring, enthusiastic, flexible, and a great team player.
