Nurse (RGN)
Are you passionate about making a difference to some ones life? As a nurse do you want the time to deliver quality person centred care?
We are looking for dynamic Nurses with a minimum of 12 months experience who share our passion for making a difference and delivering first rate care with compassion and courage to join our growing team.
Reporting to the service manager, as a senior nurse, you will be supervising a team of support workers, and will oversee the smooth running of the shift. All of our nurses deliver every aspect of our residents' care, ranging from personal care to managing and administering medication and you must therefore have a hands-on approach. You will be expected to make sound clinical judgements whilst role modelling best practise and inspiring junior staff to achieve their potential.
Excellent communicator, our nurses work closely with the therapy team to create and implement personal care plans, and facilitate admissions and discharges.
An award winning specialist neurological rehabilitation centre, with a CQC rating of Good, we deliver specialist 24 hour nursing and therapy services. Our focus is to provide the best quality care to adults with highly complex neurological conditions and their families.
With our own in-house clinical Multi-disciplinary team we offer outcome focused, individualised rehab care for those living with a life changing incident such as ABI, Spinal Cord Injury or Stroke and long term neurological conditions such as MND.
We also have a specialist atypical dementia service which cares for those living with Early Onset Dementia or conditions such as Korsakoff Syndrome, where you will also be required to support as required.
Some benefits of working as a Nurse RGN at Marbrook:
* Pension
* Free specialist training and development
* Opportunities for career development
* Culture of best practise supervision
* Cooked meal per shift
* Benefits package including discount vouchers for high street shops and amenities, and many competitive offers for facilities such as insurance, health/dental plans, free training courses and lifestyle services
* Employee Assistance Programme
* Free parking
Marbrook is committed to equal opportunities and successful applicants will be subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check for regulated activity, and you must hold a current PIN number with a minimum of six months before expiry.
If you feel you have the skills and experience and confidence to achieve our high standards, have excellent people skills, and empathy and understanding of the challenges faced by our residents, we would love to hear from you
