Maxxima is currently seeking an experienced Band 7 Senior CHC Nurse Assessor to fill a full time, Monday - Friday, 9am-5pm, role in Croydon, Surrey. The ideal candidate will have an expert understanding of CHC and FNC assessment practices, as well as considerable leadership skills.

The pay rate for this locum Band 7 Senior CHC Nurse Assessor job is GBP225 per day (Umbrella) and is a 3 month contract due to start ASAP.

Based with our NHS client, you will lead and manage a team of assessors who administer and undertake assessment of the patient's eligibility for Continuing Healthcare (CHC) and Funded Nursing Care (FNC) in order to plan and commission appropriate care packages to meet their needs, monitor that the care packages continue to meet their needs and review the planned care to ensure it provides a high standard of quality and safety.

Requirements of the Band 7 Senior CHC Nurse Assessor role:

- You must be a Registered Nurse with a current NMC pin
- You must be able to process fast-track assessments and continuing healthcare assessments
- You must have previous leadership experience at Band 7 level
