We are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified and experienced Occupational Health Manager to take responsibility for a wide range of occupational health services for staff and our Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences students. This post represents an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to join a team of staff in Keele University’s Occupational Health and Safety Department which is part of the Directorate of Human Resources.
Reporting to the Head of Department of Occupational Health and Safety the Occupational Health Manager will play a dynamic, proactive and professional “hands-on” role in providing on-going management support and services to various departments of the University. You must therefore be registered or accredited for practice.
Possessing excellent communication and interpersonal skills you will actively develop and lead a small team of staff to ensure that an effective and efficient service is provided to an excellent standard. You will also be required to oversee the contract work of our counselling service and Occupational Health Physician.
This is a 0.8FTE role and flexible working can be accommodated subject to clinical needs.
In addition the Occupational Health Manager will play an influential role in proactively helping to raise the profile of our comprehensive wellbeing strategy.
