Job Role

We are looking for an experienced, methodical and analytical individual to join our small team located in Ipswich town centre.  The successful applicant will need to be motivated and have exceptional attention to detail. 

The role would be well suited to clinical professionals such as nurses, doctors and advanced practitioners who are ready to add a new and non-clinical dynamic to their career.

    

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Analysis and evaluation of medical records.
  • Prepare comprehensive and accurate medical history and evaluation reports.
  • Prepare detailed clinical life expectancy reports based on knowledge/experience/judgement.
  • Communicate findings with non-medical managers in a clear and concise manner.
  • Medical research based on geographic (particularly USA), demographic and medical trends.
  • Attend medical and other industry conferences in the UK and abroad.
  • Collection of data and statistical analysis alongside our in-house actuarial department.
  • Assist in the development and enhancement of in-house medical evaluation software.
  • Other duties as assigned from time to time.

 

Required skills/qualifications:

  • Educated to at least Master’s degree level and/or strong medical and clinical experience (e.g. in the medical science, nursing, healthcare or pharmaceutical sectors).
  • Good IT, written and communications skills.
  • Able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
  • An interest or aptitude in mathematics and statistics would be an advantage.
