An excellent opportunity for a Scrub Practitioner, RGN/ODP with previous experience in a similar surgical setting to join this experienced team at this treatment centre in Chesterfield. My client is part of a national healthcare group which has a brilliant reputation for providing outstanding levels of care. The role of the treatment centre is to work collaboratively with NHS trusts to reduce waiting times. As Scrub Practitioner (RGN/ODP) you will have experience working within Orthopaedic Theatres and will have work as part of an on-call duty rota.

The service is looking for a dynamic and hardworking NMC/HCPC registered nurse/practitioner to join this team on a full-time basis. . The ideal candidate for this Scrub Practitioner (RGN/ODP) role will be confident working in fast paced and high-pressured environment. You are expected to be patient focused, and use evidence based practice to ensure a constantly improving patient experience. You will have experience working in a similar role and be confident supervising and supporting clinical staff in the delivery of care.

You will be responsible for:

  • Providing the highest standards of nursing care to a caseload of patients
  • Planning, assessing, implementing and evaluating individual person-centred care plans
  • Adhering to Care Quality Commission standards for quality care provision
  • Fully complying with all policies and procedures
  • Supervise and monitor standards of care and take appropriate action to improve standards when required
  • Ensure all clinical documentation is well maintained and filed in the appropriate places

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

NMC/HCPC Registered General Nurse or Practitioner qualified with relevant experience (RGN/ODP)

Demonstrable experience in a similar role

Up to date clinical experience

Current and valid registration with the NMC/HCPC and a legal right to work in the UK
