You’ll meet the AICU team; hear about their experiences since joining the Cromwell and what we can offer you, as well as having a tour of the department.
The Adult Intensive Care Unit is led by a team dedicated consultant intensivists. Registered medical officers work in the unit 24 hours a day and are specialised in either anaesthesia or intensive care medicine.
Led by an intensive care nurse lead, our highly skilled and experienced nurses ensure the best possible care is delivered to level 1 and level 2 medical and surgical critically ill patients on a one to one basis.
We can provide great learning and development opportunities, supporting our staff to deliver expert quality care.
Our people have fantastic CPD opportunities to enhance their skills, and are well supported through our buddy and mentor system and dedicated Practice Development Nurses.

The closest tube stations are:
Earls Court Station (District and Piccadilly lines). Take the exit onto Earls Court Road then take Hogarth Road or Kenway Road (opposite the station) to reach Cromwell Road.
Gloucester Road Station (Circle and District Lines). Turn left onto the Cromwell Road.
High Street Kensington (Circle and District Lines). Turn left from the tube station and then left down Wright's Lane and continue on to Marloes Road. The hospital is on the left hand side just before Cromwell Road
