Do you want to make a difference to nursing, education and research? Do you want to be part of a team committed to designing innovative and flexible work-based learning that makes a difference to service delivery and patient experience? If so, we are looking for a new colleague to join us at this exciting time in the health sector as a Lecturer/Senior Lecturer in Nursing, with either a background in adult or mental health nursing.

The role will contribute to the team by, developing materials, critical reading, and production of audio-visual and online resources. The role will also look to develop synergies between teaching and research by developing a personal research plan aligned to one or more of the schools research themes.

As a minimum you will have a profile of developing academic and professional leadership skills and a recognised ability to motivate and inspire others. You will demonstrate a passion for nurse education that has the potential to make a difference to enhance the practice of others. We will offer you opportunities to develop skills in supportive opening learning, curriculum development, research and scholarship.

The successful candidate will have a master degree or equivalent in a field related to Nursing as well as a post graduate teaching qualification and at Senior Lecturer level will also have a PHD or equivalent in a related field.
