As part of our goal to become one of the UK's leading universities we are therefore investing in people to drive our excellence in teaching and learning and looking for talented individuals who share our passion for teaching and supporting learning.
As the largest School in the University we have a broad provision of health professions related courses across Dietetics, Nursing, Midwifery, Occupational Therapy, Operating Department Practice, Paramedic and Physiotherapy all leading to professional registration. We also have a large portfolio of CPD courses at UG and PG levels. Due to our continued success and growth the School of Nursing, Midwifery and Health is looking to appoint a motivated and enthusiastic and experienced individual to work as a Lecturer within an established team of academics, delivering education in relation to pre-hospital and emergency care. Teaching activity will contribute to our highly regarded BSc in pre-hospital and emergency care (an online course).
The post is a two year, fixed term, full time position. Previous experience of teaching HEI based educational programmes would be advantageous. Applicants will need to hold either NMC or HCPC registration. The salary is dependent upon the skills and qualifications of the individual.
The University offers academic and professional development and provides a Post Graduate Certificate Teaching Qualification for individuals who do not hold a recognised teaching qualification. You will be supported to develop your interests in order to progress your career including support to develop and facilitate teaching for online courses.
